Melrose Youth Hockey Announces the Implementation of New Online Information System and Payment Schedule

New Online Payment System - Overview

Melrose Youth Hockey is implementing a new online system that will allow parents of players in the program to make online payments using a credit card (MasterCard, Visa and American Express accepted).  Parents will also be able to check the status of their account at any time from a computer with a connection to the Internet.  Those parents who registered for player evaluations in March 2007 using the online option have already “joined” the website and have an online account.  These “online members” may begin using the new system immediately.  Any parent who registered a player using a manual process (i.e., paper registration form) must first “join” the online system to activate the account for their player(s).  Once a parent has “joined” the MYH online system they will be able to take full advantage of the features it offers.  The link to the online system can be found on the MYH website (www.melroseyouthhockey.com).  The MYH Board of Directors would like to strongly encourage all members of our program to use the new online system for their payments and account status.

 

New Payment Policy - Overview

The new payment policy and schedule being implemented for next season consists of five (5) payments or installments.  The schedule requires monthly payments beginning in mid-June.  Under the new schedule payments will continue on a monthly basis with the last payment scheduled for mid-October.  The June payment is a $300 non-refundable payment.  This payment secures a roster spot for a player (or players) for the upcoming season. Failure to submit the June payment by the required date will result in a player being placed on an ineligible player list and removed from all assigned team rosters.  If at any time during the period payments are collected (June 15 – October 15) a player’s account becomes delinquent the player’s name will be removed from the assigned roster and placed on the ineligible player list.  Please be advised any player whose name appears on this list will not be permitted to participate in any MYH activity until all outstanding financial obligations to the program are addressed.

 

Payment Schedule/Amounts

The total per player cost - less the initial deposit - will be equally divided among the remaining four (4) payment dates.  For example, if the cost for a player assigned to an MYH team for the 2007-2008 season were $1,000 the amount of the four remaining payments would be $175 each for July, August, September and October.

 

Below is the payment schedule for the Mite A and B teams and all Squirt, Pee Wee and Bantam level teams for the 2007-2008 season:

Practice Ice Schedule:                           Two (2) practice sessions and one (1) in-house skill session per week
