Middlesex Yankee Conference Girls League 2007-2008
Champions!
On Sunday, April 6th, the Melrose U14 Girls hockey team
took the championship game from a very talented
Winchester team 5-2. This followed a hard fought
defensive win at the semi-final game on Friday April 4th
against the Eastern Commonwealth Girls Hockey team 1-0
by a lone goal from Lydia Mays. The last two games of
the season proved to be the girls best effort for this
very gifted team. It was a well-deserved way to cap off
an excellent season.
